Telangana Congress Party’s fire brand leader Revanth Reddy made a huge allegation on the KCR led TRS government. He said that there are irregularities in the Rs.400 crores flood relief fund released from the government. Making the Rs.400 cr as the centre topic, he made some serious political allegations. He asked if anyone was benefitted from his constituency due to this flood relief fund or not.
Reddy decided to demand that the Greater Zonal Municipal Commissioners in his constituency meet the officials on a daily basis to investigate this alleged corruption. Revanth went to LB Nagar Zonal Office on the first day and a petition was filed.
Revanth Reddy in turn alleges conspiracy to commit massive extortion in the name of helping flood hit victims. Revanth alleges that TRS leaders stole Rs 200 crore from flood relief funds. He said that any scheme or aid generally gets deposited into people’s account but in an amazing way the TRS government is handing over the money to the hands of the people.
Doing so is accused of massive corruption by this No.1 Congress leader in Telangana. He demanded vigilance and ACB inquiry into this alleged corruption act. Revanth asked the source for the flood relief fund and said that he cannot believe that the government has spent Rs.400 crore for the people as no one was visibly benefited from these flood relief funds.
“Banks will restrict an individual to hundreds of T&C policies for a loan of lakhs and how could they manage Rs.400 cr in such a short period of time?” This flood relief issue has also become an embarrassing issue for TRS these days. That is why the aid was temporarily suspended. Meanwhile, opposition started to gather their voices alleging massive corruption.
