Retired headmaster Kotayya, who took Anandayya’s herbal anti-Covid-19 medicine, died in Krishnapatnam, Nellore district.
Kotayya, who had been undergoing treatment at Guntur GGH for the past ten days, has breathed his last after his health condition deteriorated.
However, family members say it is not known whether the headmaster died of Covid-19 or due to any other medical issues. He had been receiving treatment on a ventilator for the past four days. He joined GGH due to illness ten days ago before he took Anandayya medicine.
Kotayya became popular after his video of taking Anandayya’s medicine went viral all over social media. He said he recovered with the herbal medicine. He claimed the oxygen levels in his body had increased after he took herbal medicine drops in his eyes.
As the video went viral on social media, the full demand for Anandayya medicine increased. With this, people from many places lined up for Krishnapatnam. However, the drug distribution came to a halt with subsequent conditions.
