YSRCP government is all set to make an official announcement tomorrow about the Capital cities of Andhra Pradesh. The government is taking all the necessary steps to make sure that no disturbances arise during the announcement.
The YSRCP government has maintained utter mum about Capital city for the past six months. Unwilling to share any credit with TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has ignored to continue Amaravati as Capital.
While there are several anticipations that he would pick Donakonda as Capital city, the CM in last assembly session has proposed that the AP is going to have three Capitals. While Amaravati will be confined to legislative Capital, Kurnool will be judicial and Vizag is going to be executive Capital of AP.
Since Jagan’s revelation about the proposal, Amaravati farmers have been protesting against it. While the GN Rao Committee report has been scheduled to be announced tomorrow to public, United Advocate Action Committee related to West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasham and Nellore has called for a protest tomorrow at Prakasham Barrage.

But the police denied permission as per the instructions of the state government. Even the AP police will house arrest TDP leader Kesineni Nani tomorrow only to stop any disturbances from happening.
As Jagan’s three capital proposal has every chance to go official tomorrow, it should be seen how are the opposition parties and most importantly Amaravati farmers are going to receive it.
