After long delays due to many reasons, Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming movie ‘Republic’ is finally hitting the screens on October 1. The film has been passed the censor hurdle and the regional censor board has cleared the film with a ‘U/A’ certificate.
We know Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident recently and suffered multiple injuries. The actor is currently recovering and is being treated by the Apollo doctors. When the release date was announced a few weeks ago, the actor was fine, and he was seen in a promotions mood. But, the unfortunate incident made the movie team reconsider the release date. However, after discussions, the makers decided to release the movie on October 1.
Republic is directed by Deva Katta and is produced jointly by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagawan under the JB Entertainments banner in association with Zee Studios. Sai Dharam Tej plays an IAS officer in Republic which is touted to be a political drama. The film features Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. Mani Sharma provides the music.
