Lockdown has been imposed for 21 days to curb corona in the country However, coronary cases are still on the rise across the country for which, Prime Minister Narendra Modi felt that extending the lockdown was the only way to curb this pandemic and recently announced to extend the lockdown till May 3rd. His decision, however, has received support and accolades from the celebrities.
With an attempt to spread more awareness, actress Renu Desai posted a video on Instagram, supporting the Prime Minister’s decision. She urged people to strictly follow this lockdown for a few more days. Our daily life has become so disturbed by the corona virus. Schools and colleges are closed and everyone is working at home.
However, this decision is taken by the government for our own safety. We have been sitting in our homes for 21 days. But, this is not enough, we need a little more patience to restrict ourselves for few more days as the cases are increasing rapidly and taking a toll on people’s health, she said.
Renu said that probably medical professionals are constantly working to develop a vaccine about the virus in the next few days and we might be free from the imposed clutches. She appealed to all her followers to kindly follow the instructions given by the Prime Minister and the Chief Ministers.
“It’s not a joke, so many lives are lost. It’s pathetic and should not come to us. We need to sit at home for our highest good. Don’t think of it as a prison and also, don’t say that you have been house arrested. Just assume that you are at your security by staying in your home. Do not regret for being lazy or preoccupied with insta or any other social media. There’s nothing wrong about it as we all are confined to homes” suggested Renu.
