Recently Jacqueline Fernandez began shooting for the much hyped action comedy, Bachchan Pandey. It stars Akshay Kumar in the lead opposite Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. It is needless to say, Akshay plays a dreaded gangster who aspires to become an actor while Kriti aims to become a director.
Media portals now revealed Jacqueline’s character in the film too. It is learnt that Jacquline essays a pivotal role in the flashback scenes of Bachchan Pandey, where she plays the love interest of Akshay in his younger days. Akki appears in a decent moustache look while romancing Jacqueline in the flashback scenes on contrary to the bearded avatar in the present scenes.
Jacqueline is said to have the last 7 to 10 days shoot schedule as director Farhad Samji is all set to wind up the making by March 1.
The source also added, “She will be shooting for some key scenes forming the emotional crust of the film, and a romantic song with Akshay in Jaisalmer. The shoot of Bachchan Pandey is expected to end on Feb 28/March 1, followed by some patchwork in Mumbai.
Arshad Warsi and Pankaj Tripathi are seen in key roles in this flick. Bachchan Pandey story is written by Nischay Kuttanda and Samji wherein produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The release date is expected to be on January 22.
