While the expectations were soaring high and the fans were pinning hopes on Ravi Teja’s upcoming flick tentatively titled “krack” directed by Gopichand Malineni, the lockdown has walloped the film industry like never before.
The film, which was scheduled to go on floors by May 1st has been halted and been on the back burner for this very reason. It was supposedly touted to be an action thriller also named #RT66, produced by Tagore Madhu. The flick stars Shruthi Hassan as female lead after “Balupu”, which was a huge hit in their combination.
Of late Ramesh Varma knocked the socks off with “Rakshasudu” a crime mystery, that stars Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the lead role. He then expressed interest to team up with Ravi Teja.
However, the mass hero Ravi Teja who had been gearing up for the release of Gopichand Malineni’s ‘Krack’ may drop Ramesh Varma’s project and seeming to take up another project. The exact reason for relinquishing Ramesh Varma’s film is unclear.
Ravi Teja has earlier announced a film in the direction of ‘Kick’ fame Vakkantham Vamsi. It’s heard through the grapevine that he might venture into this project. Meanwhile, the latest buzz was that Tamannaah Bhatia disclosed that makers of the Ravi Teja’s upcoming film approached her for the lead role.
Nonetheless, due to the present crisis, the makers’ progress faltered and since then there have been no news about the film. Censuring all media reports, Tamanna said that she never reject a movie with Ravi Teja as she shares a very good bonding both professionally and personally.
