Team India former captan, Virat Kohli has been in dismal form of late. He scored 22 runs in his last 5 IPL innings and this sums up the situation.
Speaking about Kohli’s poor run of form, Shastry said it is high time that Kohli takes some time off cricket and works on something else.
“My advice to Kohli is that he should pull out from the IPL midway through the tournament and take some time off cricket. He should focus on his mental stability and composure.” Shastry said.
The former team India coach added that Kohli has been playing cricket non-stop for as long as he can remember and this might have casted a negative spell on his game as he has been so relentless for such a prolonged period of time.
