The YSRCP government is planning to deliver ration to every single household, door to door, from the 2st of January, thereby trying to avoid long queues for everyone who is entitled to the ration. However, what remains as a question to many is if this scheme will turn out to be a solution, or an even bigger problem for everyone involved.
According to reports, at least 30% of rice card details are yet to be extracted from the general public, so that rice can be distributed accordingly to those who need it. Collecting such huge information within the span of 15 days is a highly difficult task, no matter how many volunteers you have to help out.
As a result, it is being said that the volunteers are all being overburdened with a lot of work, and that the pressure is building up on them to collect the information as soon as possible, and as fast as possible.

When everyone used to line up at ration shops, that was a totally different story, as every individual knew the needs of their family, and they would collect only as much ration as they needed, and would refuse the rest of it. This made things a lot easier for everyone. With volunteers now having to collect all of this information, and within a very short span of that, many are wondering if this plan of distributing ration from door to door would work out in favor for everyone involved, or if it would turn out to be a huge disaster.
