Rashmika Mandanna, who is going great guns in the south film industry is going to make her debut in Bollywood with ‘Mission Mangal’, a spy suspense drama.
Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna on Thursday shared that they have began shooting for their much awaited project ‘Mission Majnu’.The shoot commenced for the spy thriller in Lucknow. The film also stars actors Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles.
“A special one with a special team. #MissionMajnu, day 1,” Sidharth tweeted yesterday. While Rashmika too posted “Ahhhh… I sooooo can’t wait to join my team. Let the mission start!!! #MissionMajnu.”
The plotline is inspired from the true events faced by RAW agents for their invaluable services in safeguarding the citizens of the nation that focuses on evoking patriotism.
In the flick, Sidharth will be essaying the role of a RAW agent and Shantanu Bagchi makes his maiden entry with his direction. Mission Majnu is penned by Parveez Shaikh, while music is scored by Amit Trivedi. Aseem Arrora and Sumit Batheja will bankroll jointly with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta in association with Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies.
