Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda, who is known as the finest artist in Bollywood, was embroiled in controversy over his remarks against former UP CM Mayawati. The actor, who had taken part in an event in the past, made insulting remarks against the Bahujan Samaj Party chief.
After an old video clip of Hooda, making a ‘sexist and casteist’ joke’ on the ace politician went viral, social media users are now asking for his arrest. #ArrestRandeepHooda is a top trend on Twitter and netizens have also demanded a genuine apology from him for his ‘insensitive joke’.
After the video went viral, the actor has been removed as the ambassador of the Convention for the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) — an environmental treaty of the United Nations.
