Movie Moghul Rama Naidu who holds the Guinness Book of World record for producing the highest number of films had established ‘Ramanaidu Studios’ in Film Nagar and Nanakramguda where film and TV shoots take place.
When we walk into these studios, it is like entering multiple film sets at the same time. The visionary set up will give the glimpse of the hospital at one end, a bungalow at the other and a police station by the corner of the road.
But, sadly this Tollywood’s favourite destination is going to be closed soon. As per the reliable sources, it is heard that Suresh Babu has decided to offer Ramanaidu Studios for a construction giant.
Buzz is that Meenakshi Constructions has acquired Ramanaidu Studios and it will build a gated community in this place. Currently, the shoot of Bellamkonda Sreenivas – Santosh Srinivas film is happening and this would be the last shoot happening in this iconic studio.
Tollywood fraternity is going to lose a great film set up indeed! Sad, but true!
