Hero Ram Pothineni has managed to stay in Tollywood without any controversies, and has known to be a soft spoken, decent man so far. However, he looks like he won’t be known as that person anymore.
Following the incident at Swarna Palace in Vijayawada, the owner of Ramesh Hospitals, Ramesh Babu, had absconded. He has been maintaining that he has nothing to do with the incident, but is still reluctant to appear before the Police for investigation.
Ramesh Babu is a relative of Ram Pothineni’s, and Ram decided to defend him on social media, bringing unwanted negative publicity for himself. Tweeting his opinion, Ram said that Caste virus is more prevalent in the politics of AP, rather than Coronavirus.
Fact is, this thing is true, but Ram pointing it out makes it only worse for the actor. Ramesh Babu is not being targeted or spoken about by any political leader, he is not even being criticised by any political party, because of his caste. All other times, people have been criticised in case incidents like this broke out. With Ramesh not being targeted, it has become very clear that the reason for this is his caste.
With Ram pointing it out, he has done nothing but damage his own image. It’s not like the law will exempt Ramesh Babu from any punishment in the case he is found guilty. It is not even like he will not be punished in case Ram’s fans organise a rally or anything. What has to happen will happen, despite everything.

Ram has never involved himself in any political matters or any controversial matters. With his involvement in this issue, the actor has surprised everyone, and has also managed to upset the officers investigating this case. These officers have already made it clear that they would not leave Ram alone if he continues to make statements like these, and that he would be called for investigation as well.
Ram Pothineni ihas indeed inserted himself in a war he has no business being a part of. And now it looks like he will have to face the repercussions of the same.
