Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s most awaited film Acharya has been halted. Once everything gets normal, the film will resume its shoot. Initially, the makers planned to release the film on August 14th but coronavirus outbreak has affected the schedules. However, in the recent media interaction, the film’s director Koratala Siva revealed that they have canned 40% of the shoot so far.
So, there are many chances that Acharya will be pushed to 2021 and as a result, the production cost will be hiked invariably. If the latest reports are to be believed, Acharya’s one of the producers is in tension about the film’s production cost. A source revealed to us that Ram Charan’s partner Niranjan Reddy is worrying about the production, release date extension and special sets (As they need to erect special sets in Hyderabad due to coronavirus). And he is making plans to meet Chiru and Ram Charan regarding the same. But it looks like Chiru is not in a mood to meet anyone during this quarantine period.
Touted to be an action entertainer, the film stars Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Set in the backdrop of Srikakulam, the film is a contemporary take over the natural resource. Manisharma is the music director of the film.
