Ram Charan has added another feather to his cap by becoming the first Indian celebrity to be featured alongside his pet dog, Rhyme, at Madame Tussauds in London. During his interaction at the unveiling, the actor opened up about his upcoming project, Peddi.
He shared that around 30% of the filming has been wrapped up and expressed excitement over the film’s progress. According to him, Peddi is shaping into a project even grander than Rangasthalam, both in terms of scale and emotional storytelling. He emphasized that the film carries a powerful narrative that will connect deeply with viewers. The next schedule of shooting is expected to begin in mid-May.
Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, known for Uppena, the film is a sports-themed action drama rooted in the Srikakulam region. Janhvi Kapoor takes the lead opposite Charan, with important roles played by Shiv Rajkumar, Divyenndu, and Jagapathi Babu. Music legend A.R. Rahman is composing the soundtrack. The film is being bankrolled by Vriddhi Cinemas.
