Reports suggested that Rajinikanth’s “Coolie” might release on the same day. A clash between these two big movies would affect both their businesses and box office openings.
However, it is being said that Yash Raj Films is determined to stick to the release date for “War 2” and has already informed distributors and started booking theaters. Hence, it seems the makers of “Coolie” are considering a different release date.
“Coolie” has enormous hype around due to its star cast. The film features Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, and Aamir Khan, which has created excitement everywhere.
The movie team is planning to release the movie in August end or later. They are being cautious because other festivals and seasons, like Dussehra and Diwali, are already booked by other movies. Delaying it further, such as to December for Rajinikanth’s birthday, may cause issues with OTT deals.
