Yes, the latest update is that Rajinikanth’s super hit movie from 2005, Chandramukhi is going to get a sequel. This exciting news is confirmed by the director of Chandramukhi itself.
Speaking with an online entertainment portal, director P. Vasu confirmed that they are have completed the scripting process and they are in the process of confirming the cast and crew of the movie.
He also revealed that a leading production company has come forward to bankroll the film.
The horror-comedy movie shattered many records and now, they are huge expectations on the sequel. Chandramukhi had an ensemble of the cast including Rajinikanth, Jyothika, Prabhu, Nayanthara, Nazar, and Vadivelu among the others.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth’s next outing Darbar, which is directed by AR Murugadoss, is all set to hit the big screens on January 9, 2020.
