The Baahubali duology stands as one of the biggest ever creations in Indian cinema. SS Rajamouli crafted Baahubali 1 & 2 with cinematic excellence and played a pivotal role in the success of the franchise.
Now, we are hearing that Rajamouli might be working on Baahubali again, but on a smaller scale this time around.
It is known that Netflix and Arka Media previously worked on a web series ‘Baahubali: Before the beginning’ and Praveen Sattaru and Deva Katta were roped in to direct the project. However, the makers were not satisfied with the output that was delivered by the duo and they scrapped the project.
The latest update is that Rajamouli is set to work on the web series again. He will be supervising the production and also participate in story sittings. A new team will be roped in to direct the web series now. Netflix and Arka Media will be producing the project.
Baahubali: Before the beginning will be re-shot completely and the filming will commence soon. More details are awaited.
