Superstar Mahesh Babu is working with blockbuster director SS Rajamouli on his upcoming film, tentatively called SSMB 29. Initially, the film was promoted as a globe-trotting adventure set against a forest backdrop. However, recent reports suggest the story has deeper layers.
The film is said to delve into Indian history and mythology. The central conflict reportedly unfolds in the ancient city of Kashi. Events from the city’s divine past are expected to lead to a present-day forest adventure. Since shooting in Kashi and recreating its past version is challenging, the production team is building a set in Hyderabad.
These updates have heightened anticipation for the film’s storyline. Rajamouli is reportedly planning to captivate audiences by shooting in exotic locations across India, Africa, and other countries.
Currently, key scenes are being filmed in Odisha. The cast includes Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran in prominent roles, with music composed by MM Keeravani.
