Magnum Opus RRR has already been postponed once from July 2020 to January 8th, 2021. This decision was made to give more space for the post production works as Rajamouli is known for his quality.
After the decision, Rajamouli has ample time to complete the movie and present it before the audience. However with lock down imposed there were no cinema activities from the past 60 days and this trend is going to continue for atleast a month or so.
With this, every one who closely follow cinema came to a conclusion that RRR will not make it to Sankranthi 2021. But Rajamouli few days back stayed optimistic about the release date. However recently RRR producer DVV Danayya has made it clear that movie will not make it for Sankranthi. He has also said that Rajamouli will announced the new release date once assessing the shoot progress.
Now according to the latest information, Rajamouli is going to announce the new release date as they sorted out all the logistic problems. New date might be announced very soon.
