Back in the day, a film running for 100 days was a big thing and it was celebrated by fans. But that isn’t the case anymore with the running days largely shortened. But RRR has managed to run for a 100 days, but not in India.
Rajamouli took to social media to share a celebratory message on RRR’s 100-day run in Japan.
“Back in those days, a film running for 100 days, 175 days etc was a big thing. The business structure changed over time…Gone are those fond memories… But the Japanese fans are making us relive the joy ❤️❤️Love you Japan… Arigato Gozaimasu…” Rajamouli captioned a poster of RRR running 100 days at 114 screens in Japan.
Rajamouli is elated about the same, and more so given that RRR’s Naatu Naatu is now in contention for the Oscars in best Original Song category.
