An awareness seminar on Plasma Donation was held at Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. Noted film director Rajamouli, ace music director Keeravani, Cyberabad commissioner Sajjanar and other big wigs were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli said that no one should fear to donate plasma. In the case of covid-19 no one should be negligent of symptoms. He asserted it can be conquered if care is taken and also by following nutritious diet or medicines as prescribed by doctors. He added that it’s crucial for the recovered people to donate plasma at right time.
Music director Keeravani dispelled the myths and suspicions surrounding plasma donation. He said that its more like a blood donation and on top of that plasma which is extracted from blood will also be restored soon. He said donating it in the troubled times would be equivalent of a lifesaver. Their family and staff expressed, they were ready to donate plasma. CP Sajjanar said that the corona victims should not be discriminated and treated with humanity as they could even become covid warriors in the future. He appealed those recovered from the corona to come forward to donate plasma.
A documentary on plasma donation and a song composed by music director Keeravani, while penned by Sridhar Gavvala has been released. Rajamouli and Keeravani were felicitated by CP Sajjanar on the occasion.
