The movie Rajdhani Files was made on the subject of the Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati and the protests of the farmers there. During these times of elections in the state, the movie is set for release but it faced some trouble in the High Court.
The court heard a petition from YCP leader Lella Appireddy, who wanted to stop the movie from being released as it was showing the YCP government in bad light. The court issued a temporary order to stop the release, so the movie, which was supposed to come out today, got postponed. The High Court will hear the case again tomorrow and make a decision.
Interestingly, even while the court was still discussing the matter, some places started showing the Rajdhani Files movie. But then the authorities stopped the screenings in the middle of the shows.
Several places like Trendset mall in Vijayawada, Gopi theatre in Ongole and others saw the same situation. The shows were stopped abruptly and the audience were sent out. This caused protests from the audience and farmers.
However, many scenes from the movie are already doing rounds on Social media and are already viral.
