It is known that Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 in a case related to the alleged production and distribution of pornographic films through different online applications.
As Mr Kundra’s police custody expires today, the court has now further extended his custody and sent him to 14 days of judicial custody.
The businessman and co-accused Ryan Thorpe had filed two different petitions in the High Court of Bombay, saying they were nabbed without being given notice of Section 41a of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, Raj Kundra’s lawyer filed had a bail plea today asking the court to grant the bail to the accused as the investigation is over. However, the court rejected the petition.
As per reports, the Mumbai Crime branch police have seized Mr Kundra’s laptop and a SAN (Storage Area Network) box, where they found some crucial data related to the case.
