Narasapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju who has been acting as the main opposition to the AP government for quite some period seems to have on the verge of his well-planned destiny after a rigorous battle with the ruling YSRCP in AP.
The reports are out that Krishnam Raju might get suspended from the party anytime soon as the YSRCP high command is extremely disappointed with his explanation to show-cause notices and his tour to Delhi is nothing but rubbing salt on the wound.
Of course, MP Raju tried to please his supremo by writing a letter to CM Jagan to brief over allegations on him but the YCP supremo seems to be not at all pleased with his effort. As political analysts opine, this is all because BJP is not at all interested in having Raju in their party and that is the reason why MP is trying his best to please Jagan all of a sudden.
Now, it is being said that Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju is trying very hard to join the Bharatiya Janatha Party as soon as he gets suspended from the YSRCP. If he was proved ineliglbe for the MP post like the thing that happened in the case of JDU MP Sharad Pawar in the past, he will lose everything he has on line.
On the other side, he has been in constant touch with BJP’s big wigs and this doesn’t seem like a back-up-plan at all and it might be the actual plan. Now, MP Raju trying to please Jagan with all these letters is a backup plan. BJP doesn’t need any Lok Sabha candidate as they are already enjoying complete majority in the house. But the BJP sources say that they accepted Raghu Rama Raju’s entry into the party but only after he gets suspended from the YSRCP.
Right from the beginning, MP Raju’s words and actions imply that he is up for defection and was just waiting for the right situation and temperature in the state. When some senior YSRCP leaders started to express their disappointment over Jagan’s rule, he immediately pounced on the YSRCP high command and made many severe allegations including casteist comments on Jagan and his co.
So, Raghu Rama Raju has no other option left but to join BJP as the probability of making his back up plan to work is definitely ‘ZERO’. So, if he makes right moves, we can see MP Raju in saffron colours soon.
