After a lengthy layoff from movies, K Raghavendra Rao announced his next project titled Pelli Sandadi. He will be producing this film which will have Srikanth’s son Roshan in the lead role.
Going into the story, Raghavendra Rao made a few interesting comments when asked about the sequel of blockbuster film, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari which had Chiranjeevi and Sridevi in lead roles.
“I have prepared the story for the sequel of Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. I am waiting for Ram Charan’s nod now. If he likes the story, the project will hit the floors at the earliest,” he said.
Raghavendra Rao further added that Ashwini Dutt, who produced the original, is ready to bankroll the sequel as well.
The senior director revealed he will not direct the project but will supervise it while his son Prakash wields the megaphone.
Ram Charan is yet to respond to this proposal though. Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is one of the biggest blockbusters in Chiranjeevi’s career and a possible sequel of the film will carry sky-high expectations.
