The makers of Pawan Kalyan and Rana’s ongoing project, the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyam had recently announced that the film will be releasing in theaters next Sankranthi. Even Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata might be out in theaters next Sankranthi season.
However, Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam looks set to give a big shock to both PSPKRana film and Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The makers of the Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer are also planning to lock Sankranthi release for the film.
This is a sudden decision from the makers of Radhe Shyam. UV Creations have spent close to Rs 200 crores on the project and they opine that releasing the film next Sankranthi will boost its box office prospects. If that happens, Radhe Shyam will dent the box office performance of the other two biggies and vice versa.
The Sankranthi race is already jam-packed with PSPKRana film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and F3 looking set to lock horns. If Radhe Shyam adds to the list, we can expect a strong clash between these biggies at the box office.
