As the Omicron variant is spreading like a wildfire in India, there have been strong rumours that Prabhas’ much-awaited pan Indian film Radhe Shyam may postpone its release. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres worldwide on January 14, 2022. Owing to the pandemic effect, Tollywood’s biggie RRR has already skipped its release from January this year.
As the makers of RRR postponed the release, it is also speculated that Radhe Shyam will also follow RRR and choose another date. However, it is not true as the movie team denied them strongly.
The makers of Radhe Shyam in a statement denying the rumours and said they are coming on time. The statements read, “There is no change in the release plans of Radhe Shyam. The Prabhas-starrer is gearing up to hit the screens on 14 January. Don’t believe rumours.”
Written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam is produced by UV Creations in association with T Series. The movie sees veteran actor Krishnam Raju in a crucial role. The periodic romantic drama also stars Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi among others in supporting roles.
