The makers of the upcoming Telugu entertainer Gaayapadda Simham have unveiled a quirky promotional rap song that perfectly captures the film’s satirical and humorous tone. The film features Tharun Bhascker in the lead role and is directed by debut filmmaker Kasyap Sreenivas. The recently released teaser had already generated strong curiosity among audiences with its humorous narrative and relatable storyline, and the newly released rap song has further increased excitement around the film.

The promotional track is composed and performed by Sweekar Agasthi along with rapper Asura. Packed with energetic beats and witty lyrics, the song presents a playful satirical take on the protagonist’s struggles after a major deportation announcement disrupts his American dream. The track humorously references passport rejection stamps, towering statues of Donald Trump and even a hilarious “Happy Deportation” cake-cutting moment, adding a quirky edge to the film’s narrative.

The rap song stands out for its contemporary Gen-Z vibe, driven by Sweekar Agasthi’s stylish instrumentation and catchy rhythm. The lyrics written by Sweekar Agasthi, along with rap verses by Asura, blend satire and humor while reflecting the chaos faced by the film’s protagonist. The vibrant video accompanying the track adds further entertainment with energetic choreography, colorful visuals and spontaneous performances by the cast.

In the video, Tharun Bhascker delivers his trademark deadpan humor while navigating absurd situations, while Vishnu Oi brings a lively buddy vibe to the narrative. The visuals also feature a majestic lion symbolizing the resilient “Gaayapadda Simham,” adding a symbolic element to the playful presentation. Both Sweekar Agasthi and Asura also appear on screen, enhancing the fun and energetic tone of the song.

The film also stars Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary as the female leads. Supporting roles are played by Harshavardhan and Subhalekha Sudhakar. The cinematography for the film is handled by Vidya Sagar Chinta, while editing is done by Viplav Nyshadam. Production design is overseen by Chandrika Gorrepati, and the story is written by Surya Prakash Jyosula.

Gaayapadda Simham is being produced by Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios, and presented by Pavan Sadineni. With the teaser and promotional rap song already generating strong buzz, the film is building anticipation among audiences who are eager to see this satirical take on the life of an Indian dreamer navigating challenges in the United States. The film is expected to release in theatres in Summer 2026.
