Hyderabad-based Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics 2021. She defeated China’s He Bingjiao in 2 straight sets. The score line read 21-13, 21-15.
Sindhu is now the second Indian athlete to win two medals in individual category. She achieved the mighty rare feat with her victory in the bronze match today.
Sindhu was thoroughly dominant in the one-sided clash as she finished the game in two straight sets.
Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Sindhu following her historic victory in today’s bronze match.
