Kalyan Productions launched its first movie, titled ‘Purushaha’, on Hanuman Jayanthi with a traditional pooja at Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada. The film introduces Battula Koteshwara Rao as a producer and Pavan Kalyan as the lead actor, while Veeru Vulavala makes his debut as a director. Veeru has previously worked as an assistant director on well-known movies like Malli Raava, Jersey, and Masooda.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri unveiled the title logo, which reflects the movie’s humorous and entertaining nature. The launch ceremony featured Vaddavalli Venkateswara Rao (Bullabbayi) giving the first clap and Baby Emula Dharani switching on the camera.
The movie stars Vaishnavi Kokkuru, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer as the female leads, supported by actors like Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, and VT VGanesh. The movie has Satish Muthyala as the cinematographer, Shravan Bharadwaj as the music composer, and Koti as the editor.
