Sai Ram Shankar, brother of director Puri Jagannadh, is making a daring move by releasing his new film ‘Oka Padhakam Prakaram’ on February 7. This crime thriller is set to compete with Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel, a high budget pan India film produced by Geetha Arts.
Once known for hits like Bumper Offer, after Sai Ram Shankar lost his market as a solo hero. Now, he is trying to make a comeback with an interesting promotional strategy, offering 10,000 as a prize money for audiences who correctly guess the killer before the interval. However, the buzz around the film remains low.
Adding to the challenge, Ajith’s ‘Pattudhala’ is also releasing a day earlier. With more films arriving on February 14, Oka Padhakam Prakaram needs strong word of mouth to survive.
