While the BJP leaders severely objected to the shifting of the Capital city from Amaravati, the same party leader Puradeswari, came up with some interesting comments on the issue.
Earlier, it was in the news that the state government is planning to decentralize the power, by considering four places for the Capital. Though there is no official confirmation about it, BJP leader Purandeswari lauded the idea.
She said that as all the growth was witnessed in Hyderabad alone in the past, the rest other areas suffered a lot. “So the similar mistake should not be repeated in Andhra Pradesh. Decentralization of power is the only way forward,” Purandeswari said.
BJP is working with the only target of attaining the power by the next elections. Regarding this, it is considering defaming of the state government as the only option. The Lotus Party leaders never opened up about the decentralizing the power, but demanded to retain Amaravati as the Capital.
In fact, even Purandeswari told the same that it is unfair to shift Capital from Amaravati, as it would result into a massive wastage of public money. But as her statements sounded as supportive to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the BJP leaders are now finding it tough to handle her. Reportedly, she was already warned by the high command of BJP.
