Bombay High Court Chief Justice has announced a holiday today for High court, after constant waterlogging in. Satish Maneshinde, Rhea’s lawyer. Rhea & Showik Chakraborty had filed bail pleas in drug case before HC. It was to be heard today, but has been adjourned for tomorrow.
Apart from that recently late Sushant Singh Rajput’s creative manager Jaya Saha was grilled for the second time by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday, for her alleged involvement in the drug scandal case connected to the actor’s death case. On further questioning, she revealed names of Madhu Mantena, Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash. Jaya is an employee of the talent management agency that enlists the filmmaker as one of the investors.
Limca book of records winner, producer Madhu Mantena was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for quizzing, after his name cropped up in the drugs racket nexus in link to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case.
Madhu is known for films like Ghajini, Rakta Charitra etc as an independent producer, who later cofounded phantom films with Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya. Today the producer reached NCB’s office after being summoned for his involvement in drugs-related probe.
