Priyanka’s murder case turned into a sensation in India with lots of celebrities demanding death sentence to the culprits. 144 section was imposed at Cherlapalli Jail where the culprits were given high security single barracks. Priyanka Reddy’s family, neighborhood and friends demanded justice for her by severely punishing the four culprits.

Hussain, father of the primary suspect in this case Areef, stated that they are dependent on their son’s income and they cannot afford to have a lawyer for the case. After her husband’s death, she has been doing labor works for the past 12 years to feed her son. Chennakesavulu has been suffering from a kidney disease from the past few months and his parents were shocked to know that their son has committed such a crime.
