South star Priyamani’s marriage to Mustafa Raj has been challenged by his first wife Ayesha, claiming that she is still married to him.
Speaking to a news channel, Ayesha said that Mustafa is still married to her and claimed Priyamani’s marriage with her husband is invalid. “We have not even filed for divorce, and while marrying the actress, he declared in the court that he was a bachelor.” She also said that criminal cases have been filed against Priyamani, and they are still active in court.
Mustafa Raj and Ayesha have two children. They got separated in 2013, and he married Priyamani in 2017.
When contacted Mustafa about the controversy, he said, “The charges against me are false. I am paying the children’s maintenance to my first wife regularly. She is simply trying to extort money from me.”
Mustafa also asked why Ayesha had taken this long time to proceed legally against him, where she even alleged domestic violence.
