In a tragic incident, the negligence of doctors has taken the life of a woman in Telangana. She died after the doctors left a cotton wad inside the body when she underwent C-section last year. The incident took place at KK Hospital in Yadadri Bhongir.
Last year, a woman from Raigiri delivered a baby at KK Hospital in Yadadri. The woman had been suffering from stomach ache ever since. Her relatives recently took her to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. During the examination, the doctors found a cotton wad in the woman’s abdomen.
Doctors found that the cotton had been forgotten in the abdomen during the first calving. The woman who was six months pregnant died while undergoing treatment. Doctors revealed that the woman had intestinal damage due to cotton wool in her abdomen.
With this, the relatives staged a protest in front of the hospital in Yadadri, where she delivered the baby. The police are investigating the matter.
