Director Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame has shown a great heart. For the construction of LV Prasad Eye Hospital at Neelakantapuram of Sathyasai District, he donated Rs. 50 lakh on the 75th birth anniversary of his late father Subhash.
Former minister and senior Congress leader Raghu Veera Reddy announced this through social media.
Sharing a video of Neel visiting the hospital, the veteran politician wrote, “A proud&happy moment for me and to the villagers of Neelakantapuram as my nephew @prashanth_neel for his heart warming contribution of 50lakhs towards the construction of LV Prasad Eye Hospital in our Neelakantapuram on the 75th birth anniversary(15/08/1947)of his father Subhash.”
For the unversed, Prashanth Neel is Raghuveera Reddy’s brother, Subhash Reddy’s son. As August 15 marks Subhash’s birth anniversary, the director visited Neelakantapuram on Monday.
On the work front, Prashanth Neel is presently directing Prabhas’ upcoming film ‘Salaar’. He will next helm Jr NTR’s movie.
