Happening TV host and anchor, Pradeep Machiraju’s 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela was slated for release this summer but had to be postponed due to the lockdown.
The makers tried to sell of the direct to digital rights of the film during the lockdown period but Pradeep was against it as he was adamant about the digital release proposal. He was persistent on giving the film a theatrical release.
Now that theaters are set to re-opened in Telugu states, many A-lister films including Krack, Red, Vakeel Saab and a few others are lining up for release. The competition at the box office would be too big of a challenge for a medium-budget film like 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela.
Taking all this into consideration, Pradeep is said to have given his nod for the direct to digital release of 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela. The makers are now negotiating with multiple OTT platforms and a deal will be stuck sooner than later.
