Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, is one of the much-awaited films across India. The film, which has been in shooting for nearly 3 years, is on the verge of completion.
The Radha Krishna Kumar’s directorial was supposed to release on 30 July 2021. But due to the pandemic second wave, the film is reconsidering its release date. Meanwhile, there have been rumours that the periodic love drama will opt for a digital release skipping the traditional theatrical release.
Now, the latest update is that Radhe Shyam has got a staggering OTT deal from Amazon Prime Video. As per reports, the OTT giant has offered Rs 400 Crore for acquiring the total negative rights of the film. The makers currently discussing this deal as they have invested over
Rs 330 Crore for making this film.
Considering the present situation, the film may not see profits if released in theatres. It remains to be seen what the makers decide regarding Radhe Shyam’s mode of release.
