Ram Gopal Varma, in association with Shreyas media has been releasing a series of films namely, ‘Climax’, and ‘Naked’ directly on digital platform. RGV World Theatre and Shreyas ATT(Anytime theatre) are jointly releasing these films as per a contract they had signed previously. Both RGV and Shreyas media are said to have made profits from their recent releases.
However, things have taken a drastic turn now as Ram Gopal Varma has announced that his next film will be ‘Power Star’. This film is apparently based on the incidents that took place after Janasena’s debacle in 2019 election and it sheds poor light on Pawan Kalyan. The posters of ‘Power Star’ confirm the same.
Incidentally, Tollywood hotshots have been piling up enormous pressure on Shreyas media MD, asking him not to facilitate the release of ‘Power Star’ for obvious reasons.
With no other option left, Shreyas has reportedly decided not to be a part of ‘Power Star’ project. He has conveyed his decision to RGV as well. This should come as a big shock to the controversial filmmaker as he would not have expected Shreyas media to back out just ahead of the film’s release.
Meanwhile, Varma is planning to release ‘Power Star’ on July 24th, which happens to be the release date of Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster, ‘Tholi Prema’.
