In the wake of the corona outbreak, most of the governments have cancelled the national and state-level examinations. Along with this, some of the states have postponed the exams and are looking for the proper time to conduct those exams. However, criticisms are rife on this. A similar situation can be witnessed in the state of Tamil Nadu. Makkal Needhi Mayyam (MNM) party leader Kamal Haasan responded to this.
Kamal Haasan suggested that the Stalin government should make a decision keeping the future of the students in mind. He explained that inter-marks are very important in admissions to foreign universities and professional courses. He recalled that the union govt has already cancelled the CBSE and ICSE examinations and is receiving criticisms. He said that the tests should be conducted for the students accordingly. He suggested that if necessary, the exams should be conducted by limiting the syllabus.
