The second wave of Covid-19 has infected many people, including several celebrities across the country. Now, Tollywood’s top actress Pooja Hegde has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The Butta Bomma on Sunday took to her Instagram story to inform that she has tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently under home quarantine. Pooja quickly isolated herself and has asked those in contact with her to get tested too.
“Hello everyone. This is to inform you all that I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have isolated and home quarantined myself. I request all those who have come in contact with me recently to get tested too. Thank you for your love and support I am currently recuperating well. Please stay home, stay safe and take care,” Hegde said in a statement on Twitter.
It is worth mentioning that several noted actors like Sonu Sood, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Rohit Saraf, among others, had tested positive for the virus.
On the work front, Pooja Hegde will next be in ‘Radhe Shyam’ opposite Prabhas. She also has Most Eligible Bachelor alongside Akhil Akkineni and an extended guest role in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya.
