Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh landed in a major controversy after he posed naked for the photoshoot for an international magazine. Not only trolling him online, many people even protested against the actor’s bold act.
A Mumbai-based NGO and a city based lawyer filed complaints against Mr Singh claiming that the actor hurt the modesty of women.
The latest reports reveal that Ranveer has been served a notice by the Mumbai Police in the ongoing controversy.
According to reports, the officials reached the actor’s residence to serve him the notice, but he was not at home. He has been asked to appear before the police to record his statement on August 22.
The officials have booked him under various Indian Penal Code Sections like 292, 293, 509 and provisions of the Information Technology Act.
