The upcoming Telugu film Police Complaint, starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra, is all set for a grand theatrical release on May 22. Directed by Sanjeev Megoti, the film is positioned as a unique blend of horror, action, and thriller elements, creating strong buzz ahead of its release.
Produced by Balakrishna Maharana under the MSK Pramida Sri Films banner, the film promises a fresh cinematic experience with its intriguing “chain reaction of karma” concept. The makers aim to deliver an intense action entertainer infused with supernatural and suspenseful layers, offering audiences something beyond the usual genre boundaries.
The project has already gained attention for its scale, featuring as many as 52 senior artists in key roles. Apart from Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who is said to be seen in a powerful and layered character, Naveen Chandra will be appearing in a versatile role that adds depth to the narrative. The film also stars Ragini Dwivedi, Aditya Om, Ravi Shankar, Srinivasa Reddy, Sapthagiri, Sharath Lohithaswa, Gemini Suresh, Dil Ramesh, and others in prominent roles.
Adding to the promotional buzz, the team recently released a special song dedicated to legendary actor Krishna on the occasion of actor Krishna Sai’s birthday, which has been well received by fans.
Technically, the film is backed by a strong crew, with cinematography by S.N. Harish Sondekoppa and music composed by Aarohana Sudheendra, Sanjeev Megoti, and Sudhakar Mario. The background score is also handled by the director himself, while editing is by Anugoju Renuka Babu. Action sequences are choreographed by Dragon Prakash and Raviteja, promising high-octane visuals.
