Former minister Akhilapriya has been remanded in custody for three days in connection with the Boinapally kidnapping case. She was reportedly questioned 300 questions by the police during the interrogation.
However, Akhilapriya seems to have remained silent on most of the questions. It is rumoured that the police have obtained key information during the three-day investigation. Recently, Akhilapriya was brought to Begumpet Women’s Police Station.
North Zone DCP Kamaleshwar, along with a team of two ACPs, questioned Akhilapriya about the phone conversation with the kidnappers.
According to police sources, Akhil Priya was questioned about the whereabouts of the fugitive Guntur Srinu and Bhargavram.
It is learned that Akhilapriya’s husband Bhargavaram has been arrested by the police. It was speculated that he was being interrogated in a secret location. A total of 19 people were arrested by the police in the case.
