Janasena head, Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback to Tollywood with ‘Vakeel Saab’, the Telugu remake of Bollywood social drama, ‘Pink’. Owing to the lockdown that came to effect in March, the shooting of the film was put on hold. If it hadn’t been for the Covid-19 outbreak, the film would have released on May 15th.
Pawan’s fans are eager to watch him on the big screens, but it appears to be that they might have to wait a little longer.
Speaking about the possibility of resumption of film shootings, Pawan Kalyan said, “This is not the right time to resume film shootings.”
“Arresting the spread of Covid-19 is the need of the hour. It is really important that all if us follow a strict hygienic lifestyle and practise social distancing. Taking the prevailing situation into consideration, it is unwise to call for film shootings. Any decision on film shootings can be taken only after Covid-19 effect falls to a negligible level” he said.
Going by Pawan’s comments, Vakeel Saab might not hit the floors in the near future. It is almost certain that the film will be releasing only in 2021. Dil Raju is producing the film and Venu Sriram is directing it.
Pawan is also working on Krish’s film, which had commenced shoot in February. He is supposed to work with Harish Shankar after wrapping up Krish’s film.
