Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani, who spoke to media on Friday evening, countered the criticisms made by the opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu over Bheemla Nayak movie release.
Nani said that the TDP supremo is using the movie for his own political motives and slammed that TDP, BJP and Janasena were promoting black ticket sales.
Nani also criticised Pawan Kalyan, saying that a hero who preaches morals is doing immoral things. He questioned what is the problem of opposition if the government prevents black ticket sales. He made it clear that the prices of movie tickets should be according to GO 37.
The Minister said the new GO on ticket prices should be out by February 24, but due to the untimely demise of Minister Gautham Reddy, it has been delayed.
Nani also passed a tricky question to CBN and Lokesh whether they had talked about any of the Jr NTR movies like they are now talking about Bheemla Nayak. The Minister recalled that Pawan Kalyan had announced that his film would be exhibited for free. “If the movie is good, people will flock to theatres like Allu Arjun’s Pushpa,” he added.
