He clarified that the admissions this year will go on according to the 10% Quota earmarked to the Economically Weaker Sections. The announcement has come as a shocker to Kapus across the state.
In the recent elections, though there is a Kapu leader’s party like Janasena, most of the Kapus in Andhra, chose Jagan. But the young CM still has not given any concern towards them and called off the reservation.
Though Pawan Kalyan mentioned several times that he is against caste, religion and any such discrimination, he still chose to contest from Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram, where the Kapus are in large numbers. So at this point of time, if at all, Pawan prefers to fight for the Kapus, it may bring a minimal mileage to him and his party in both the constituencies he contested in the recent elections.
