The crucial meeting between Janasena and BJP and Thursday changed the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena has had a lot of problems to deal with earlier but the alliance with the largest party in the country gave some strength from the back.
After the meeting took place between Jana Sena Party and BJP Leaders at the Fortune Murali Park Hotel in Vijayawada, both the parties held a press conference post the meeting. In that conference, as expected, the media person questioned Pawan to justify his move of forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janatha Party in Andhra Pradesh.
Their main point is, how could Pawan form an alliance with the party which denied special status for Andhra Pradesh. Responding to that question Pawan said, “‘ Why do you ask Me about Special Category Status? Telugu Desam Party which was in power from 2014 to 2019 has to be held responsible for the denial of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. There could have been a positive outcome had if they fought for it sincerely.”
“Now, the ruling YSRCP part has 22 seats and TDP has 3 seats. Those two parties will have to take responsibility for the special status but not me,” he added. It looks like the sound support from BJP made Pawan a lot confident in his approach to tackling the paid media.
